The Pumpkin Spice Episode

ABOUT THIS EPISODE

Nathanael, Ashley, and Jason opine about fall and everyone's most loved/hated/indifferent (delete as appropriate) seasonal flavor, pumpkin spice! Ashley makes good soup, Nathanael definitely doesn't get distracted, and Jason is reading holiday adjacent comics!

Beautiful. Welcome to do in debated the show, where you're entitled to your opinion, even if it's wrong. I'm your host, Nathaniel. Oh wait, what are we talking about again? Yeah, talking about season all media. I'm the faniel shaking, not stir Levinson. I am Ashley. I got a rock. Thomas, I am Jason. Can't come up with anything right now. I know. Sorry, I think I stole yours. That's all right. Jason also got a rock. All right, so we are going to be talking about seasonal media today, but before that, while you guys were Chitchat and I went ahead and wrote up my next opinion. Sports the classics. All right, so, Jason, you might not know what this is. I don't think that's the first as still have it edit in the first episode I had this. I'm a basically I go food, classic movie. Go you know what I consider a class movie and then I'm going to write about it in a narration style. All right, that references the movie, but it doesn't tell you what the movie is, and the narration style has nothing to do with me. So, for instance, the first one, it was the past is gladiator, but it was done in our the film more our style. Yeah, okay, and so we attempting to guess. Yes, you are attempting, so don't so let me finish. But you know, try to think of when you let it clicks for you. If you got all right, that's here. That's way too starting or six, three, nine to eight point two. We have landed on a strange and class plant premonition. For S I think you to shine on it. We have integrated into the population by inserting ourselves into the under the care of a rather eclectic inventor. His rule, gold, bog ass Lapp nations provide someone musement to the crew, turning the making of breakfast from a troll into the spective. We are currently investigating a rather curious phenomena. Some strange energy, to possibly sent it seems to have inhabited the chassis of the inventor's primary mode of transportation. During the initial field test, the vehicle actually achieved lift ball. We tracked them to an overseas country from adition to the World War One era eastern European dictatorship. Despite the insistence of my post officer, we have turned to remain spected as following the primary the record as it turns out the defense was not required, as the inventor, his lover and it's two children managed to use the which to outsmart the secret government agents who were chasing them and return safety home in them adjusted on them out of the way proveyance. If anything, this incident pop the most cynical of up. Who never underestimate the power of good old passengers innuity, as well as a solid song and battue and walk. What movie did I watch? Thank, I've got it. Go for Jason, I'm thinking Chitty Chidi Bang Bang. Then go I have never seen Chigii Bang. Oh, it's okay, that's I was like, I so. Wait what gave it away for you? It's been a long time, but the era, the flying car, and then the confirmations were the description of the cast and the Automatopia. I was like, okay, yeah, it's really funny. The only like context I have for Chiggidi Bang Bang is a random line in an episode of regrets where, like the other yes the the adults are getting into an argument about something and they're like, Howard hasn't watched the movie since Chiutichidi Bang Bang, and Betty Yells Chidi Chitty Bangan Bang and Yep, that's my only golfs for that movie. It's been a long time since I've seen any of that. To regrets reference, they a lot of stuff did and when you, I saw me the other day, that said a stud DD pickles for thirty three and thirty two during regrets and it kind of hurt my feelings. Well, there you go. Please stop. We all right. Well, so, Ashley, this was your idea, so I'm got over to you. Okay. So, so, I don't know about Y'all, but I love me some fall. All Autumn. It's my favorite season because, one, I hate being hot too. I love like watching the leaves change a beautiful I grew up in the mountains of East Tennessee, so we got particularly gorgeous during that time of year. Also, like I just love all the things that come with...

...ball, like I just I just finished a cup of Pumpkin spice cake coffee, because I am a basic white girl when it comes to fall. But I also really love other things that come to fall, like a fall media. So we could, I think should, over do the guess this morning. Like so, do you have different movies, TV shows, books, games, even any kind of media you associate with fall. So this is so, I guess we can. We can do honestly, we can do this. This is this is the the pumpkin spice episode, the Pumpkin Spice Nation. Of You and well, most, most people are like its sides. Of actually says exactly. Well, people like white these pumpkin spice, and it's really funny because they called a pumpkin spice, but there's nothing doing pumpkin right. It's like these are the spices you would put in Pumpkin Pie. So there's there's no pumpkin in Pumpkin spice. It's very good and it's definitely one too part like spice, the ordering it. No pumpkin spice toilet paper. Okay, so I've got that. No, alle and pretty. You know, you can repay pumpkins eye poping at home by making coffee and putting some cinnamon in nut. I can, Yep. Or just a thing of Pumpkin puny spice. Yeah, they so by itself, true, which is just siniment, a numbing yeah, some old spice. Well, well and and depending on what kind of mediate, you're gonna get a different one. Those, sure, sure, but I prefer heaving on the cinnamon, like light, Nutmeg, light, all, all spice, and that making really overpower, oh, really quickly. You know, it's really good. We're just like a little bit of nutting in it, like waiting. What eggs? He sure, scrambled eggs, great, old pressure, unquession, if you like, one great one task on the microplane. Not Be great nut made and it's just it's really nice. It's cool. I've dial in eggs. That's like the only like, unusually, this is this is not paging chemist. This is no, this is dearly debated. Also, other than Pumpkin Spice, natural. Look, that's what always be plugging. All right. So, Um, who wants to get US started? I only got one thing, so why don't you start? I will cut it back to you because I met when you have a couple things. Okay, all right. So, yeah, they then you might want to look this up for maybe some infro or Afro Music. But there is there is a here's another regrets reference. But there was a fall episode they did and there was this whole song about fall is here and I think about that song every single year. All is here, fall is here. It's a wonderful time of year and I. The only other line I remember from that song is the most important thing I have to say is don't wear white after Labor Day. All this year season song for kids in the garden, Song Lot, Song June Tony also getting the white stripes. Were going to be friends, as we do. That'solutely the first result, right, doesn't yeah, regrets falls here. The babies released the leaves autumnus year. Someone dressed as a regret. I don't know, I will, I will look up see that I find it anyway. But it's sung during like some sort of fall parade and and Jella does of course, trying to steal the spot like from Susi, who has the Solo, and so it ends up being like this duet fight between them and it's pretty okay. But I remember watching that. I mean I was loving high school watching that. But the the whole line about the most important thing I have to say is don't work quite after after Labor Day, kind of stuff with me. I saw like wearing white shoots anyways, because then I looked down on my go that's he's a disaster. Yes, very nice. As Nellie said about white shoes in air force, one the only problems they only good flow one night and once you stop when you mess up your whole nineteen. I started this mess. Let me, let's get it. Let's get it going. So I'm profession. I never watched ugrets. I always look really that. That whole era of nickelodeon animation to me just looked so ugly that I never wanted to watch it. Not even dug, not even done. Well, Hey, doug, Doug didn't have with the that the rug rats and wild born Berg. That really lumpy. Yes, classic, I'm yeah, I didn't like it at all. I've never watched anything. I guess you that's fair. Yeah, well, now it's back in creedy. Yeah, it's worse. Yeah, I'm the only three thing on nickelode worth watching with Jimmy Eaton. I'll stand by that. Oay, I never watched us on that often and I'm not really interested. Peter as ever watch the show. The movie was not bad. It was King...

Watch. Both were both great. The movie proceeded the show right order. The backwors know, the shopping no movie first. Yeah, they they actually, if I remember correctly, they funded the show first and then Nick Nickelodeon was like we can make a movie out of this to launch it and of course it has one all the kids going wild. It's playing and sinks dirty pop. Oh, yeah, that's they were chicken, spaceships, egg a lands. Yeah, it was like it was a bizarre movie fun. Yeah, I have another Generachon story, but we'll say that for for postcast. That's another one. That yeah, here's something. And so we were talking about this, discussing this topic. I'm not leaving this solely to just specials, like Halloween specials, than skating specials whatever, because that mean that could be a whole other thing. I love holiday spressures with fall. I associate certain things with ball, and one of those, I'm sorry, gravity. Gravity. Does gravity falls or these fallen? No, but one of the things I really associate with fall is Tolkien, specifically referring to the Lord of the Rings Films Mostly, but obviously the boss as well, and I'm just making that clarification because of that. Now there's a movie called folking, which is also very good, but the reason I associate those with fall. There's a few one, but one, the fellowship the ring, was one of those movies I just watched on BP and high school we got a copy of it sometime over the summer before my senior year of high school and fall semester of my senior year we ended up being out of school for a month because my high school had a very serious mold problem and a lot of kids were getting sick. Nikes. Yeah, so I was in the marching band and, you know, we still had football games, we still had banded so because we could do those things outside. So you got you got run Roman or Rona. Yeah, kind of that the with with band. What we did. We practiced all day on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but Monday, Wednesday, Friday, like it was like a race between my sister and I to see who we get to the DVD player first. So the movies I watched on repeat that fall were signs and the fellowship of the rain. So the fellowship of the ring is firmly ensconced in my brain as a fall movie, not just for watching it during the fall season but also for the gorgeous atmosphere in the fellowship with the ring. I love the Shire. I want to live there. Some day I will go to New Zealand and go see the Shire. But yeah, that that is one of the things I associated with all. Also doesn't hurt that hobbit day is a set winners. Bilober of September. No idea. Yes, all the story basically starts in the fall wards the end of September days the guys. I was thinking about it and well, I don't know that I have anything I necessarily watch at that time of the year specifically, but some of the stuff that one of the things that came to mind. I think it's just partially because of kind of the one of the things I stored of associate with that time of the years, like the nostalgic feeling kind of heaving or maybe even looking back. I think, and that's partially because you're leading up the thing thanksgiving, all that kind of stuff. But one of the movies, and I think honestly for this one, is just the nostalgia and then I think it's kind of the color scheme that went into it, the way that it's the way the shot in the way that it's made. Is I think about the first two original spider man movies, which have really strong focus on family. First one is actually takes place around Thanksgiving because, yeah, that scene with aunt may, everybody convening at Aunt May's house where Norman figures out that Peter Spider man, but it's all about the family dynamic, the power and responsibility, you know, his relationship with May. And then I think just the way that that movie, the colorization and everything, way that it's got kind of that warm tone, just kind of makes me think about pole a little bit too. That's not unfair, because there was a lot of origin in that movie. Oh yeah, and then of course the second one, which I think is one of the best superhero movies ever, made very similar things, very much I don't know, just a lot of nostalgis the kind of thing I would get up and just watch with a cup of coffee on a, you know, hold morning and did not do long a good but so that was one for me. I was I've been trying to think back on things that are more set around that time. One of the shows that just popped into my brain, we're talking about specials and thing things, was young justice, which is...

...a show that's very much they date every episode and there's a specific chunk, especially in the first season, that actually takes place jeering fall. You can kind of see the wee changing and all that kind of stuff. It's just and again some of the episodes in there very much. That's a show, especially in the first season, that's very much about character dynamic, about finding family. And while I'm looking, I was looking it up a second ago trying to pinpoint it on some specific ones. But thinks the latter half of the first season you kind of end up in fall and heading towards Christmas, but there's some specific halloween episodes. There's one meeting up thanksgiving. That's kind of and that's another one that I just really enjoy going back to pretty much anytime. Well, I just thought of something that I don't really like. It's not like, Oh, I watched this in the fall, but it takes place through the fall and the kind of cooples play a little bit and the treat rust the lead is a rustling customer. So much for the safe that it might turn out to be that it will undoubtedly looks like a Ray. That was actually what I was thinking about to is that mean the boot? Yeah, that just topps in my head every time I see lead blowing round and Paul one, we need to Poo, is one of my sister's all time favorites. My offenders that the whole. But I think it's it's like three episodes that's put together as the many adventures willing to boo and it's we can through the bust free day. Two other ones for doing the name of all right, they're all really good. It's it's like the introduction of tigger and the blustery days. Just said, really, really good episodes. Got To halflove, half loaves of usels and and that's on my Hellowa. It's yeah, but the main thing that you know, fall for me is like Thanksgiving. Yay, and I'll miss we'm going unt to do anymore. Let'spike to be would always do a James Bond therapon. So like we would just put on Spike DV and whatever Ju Fun was playing. We watch that. Yeah, so I know I love James Bond. I love the when he's can't be the reason what it is cople reason when I can chan of the dame of Craig run. One of them is being of Craig does not look like James Bond, which it's not like a hard it's not like a hard thing to fill. You just have to have dark hair, dark guys. That's say. So anything else don't care. Blond Hair, who I've been a Greig, oh my God, which that but that, you know, I get over that. Except for the fact that they kind of took the camp out of James Bond and jings mount has always been very overthetop. Youfe camp be intentionally so kind of hung and cheek in certain places of just the absurdity of the things they're doing. The other ones, I don't really like our because the two alden ones where you to a kill or I think it's a beaut but it's like a revengeful like I hate. It was just like grizzly and brutal and I'm like, this isn't James Bond, wasn't it? This isn't the fun movie one. James Bond should be fun to watch. It should make you laugh at how silly it is and to pull out to me the Craig the Craig movies just did not do that. They made it like really serious and like I could be watching this and possible the UISH. I possible to like stoppingness it's self seriously, and really was. But yeah, right, but yeah, I don't know. It just doesn't have the feel of the old bond movies which you know, despite them changing who James Bond was over and over again for the most part, that James Bond movies all feel like James Bond movie. All. You know, forty of them. The couple, the couple about wires, right, which is I'm kind of glad doing Craig runs and then I hope they're getting they're going to get back to you. Just the absurdity of everything. Like game. Craig was way too serious as James Bond. James Bond was not very serious of a person. I don't have strong feelings about James Bond. I've only ever watched like just a handful of the films. But my biggest takeaway with bond if James Bond were a woman, you would call him a whore. I would. I mean I'm calling him before anyways. Yeah, but but other guys are all like, Oh, I would be James Bond's like me. You don't tear the person as part of it is a terrible person. You can't eat, he can't he's incapable forming long lasting relationship. Yeah, but the one time you did, his wife got shot, which was one of the worst thing flow you've ever made, Diana. Yeah, it was like the automized seek the service that you gotta say there's a reason George Lazenby was old on for one movie that people like. Bond is not supposed to be serious, he's supposed to be just a bewful and well, you know, it's funny, is he's always like sleeping with all these women and then half the time of women like taking hostage. He gets himself into trouble more often...

...than that. Thought Sean Conner and would have learned in the last day. You think. You, thank you, thank you think. But yeah, so, so I do want to do just like a dedicated James Bond episode and have a Really Fun oh b yeah, right, do you stay search on that one? Yeah, I mean this there's like forty two, I think, or some absurd number. Yeah, so it's just, you know, watch what you can watch and you know, maybe just watch one run or I recommend maybe watching a couple of different things, ones to compare them. I think Sean conners would be the best James Bond. I think that. I think that's kind of like worst opinion. Oh, I mean, I know some people went rock him more. Yeah, I think this every one in the thing and this is the thing. The Roger Morelands felt like the old ones, just with updated technology, which is which is what made the they were like so overthetop, so silly. Wish up, sorry, with Sean Connery First. Or what's M conning? The first game. Oh, I thought Roger more was no pier s proces. The people look like look down the Pierce Bros in one, but actually the pier scross one, wonder one. So yeah, the rocker one ones. They're a couple of like everyone has good every bond has some really good ones and some really bad ones. But so it. Know, start from me fairly humble beginnings with Dr Know, which was more or less straightforward, that you would like a new fluid power plan, that the bad guy's bad plan was not insane. To Gold Finger, where it's like we're going to use crop dusters to gas to gasp or Knox cards. They we're going to set off a dirty bomb to radiate all the gold, making it worth umpty million dollars. Somehow I that there. That part never made sense to me as to how turn making gold radioactive increases its value. This like here's some gold. Also, it kills you. Who's binding is, but it but Goldfinger is probably one of the one of the best ones in terms of it just got this got everything you want in James Bond. It's gone, you know, memorable lines, memorable villain, it's got absurd gadgets, it's got the female antagonists with an interesting name. This is in the s. You can be like, yeah, it's guys. That's not subtle at all, but it's pretty funny. But yeah, it's any expect them to talk. No, I'm its Doabon, I expect you. What's like that? It's just it's great and there's like here, I'm going to kill you, and it's with the world slowing. They strap it to a table and put is lazier that's going to cut it in half and it's like it will take seven hours to get to to start cutting in half. Like come on, Guy. But yeah, Jake Bond, I don't again, I don't think they do it anymore, but that that was something we needs to do action. But now, I mean, if he's like that, you don't do TV marathons anymore because everyone that ever everything streaming. So now it's like you pick something you want to watch and you'll make that a division. He is still there. Yea Twenty four hours of a Christmas store. I don't know. The only Christmas movie worth watching is the original rinch. Yeah, and I times it's you. I like Miracle Putty. Question do the like? which miracle and THY Four Street? But Riche or marshal? I think I don't know that. I didn't know. Hey have like one of the best movie, the Best Hanakka movie ever, the Hebrew Hammer. It's very silly if you if you're not. There are a lot of jokes. It will go of your head if you're not really hip to Jewish culture. But it's I think it's still fun. And so here's the the whole the whole plot. I'll summarize it for you. What's up? Okay, so what's the Jimmie stewer one? The CHRISM who? That's the most famous one. It's a wonderful yeah. So the whole thing is the main character, Adam, the remembers last thing. He's the her hammer. He's like the secretation for the Jews and and he joins up with the Quanzo literation front to stop Andy Dick, who is Santa's son. Right, and Dick is Santa Sun and he's corrupting all the young Jewish boys by handing up who lay coffees, that it's a wonderful life. That is the pot of the movie gets so, so, so funny and it has one of the best, I'm going to put giant air quotes here, sex scenes because there's no actual sex, but one of the best quote unquote, sex scenes of all time where the girls like talk dirty. He's like, I'm going to open a K and it's going to grow at an annual rate of five percent. We're going our kids are gonna go to private school. Yes, so fucking it's but that that was a movie where I was like this speaks to me and nobody else. But that was the only Hanneck movie I'm where I'm sure. Yeah, well, that's that's a little later for a fall seasonal but we'll keep that in mind. If fluctuates, not that much, but it's like you know, I starts around Thanksgiving a lot...

...of times. Actually it always happens terribly before winter starts. Interesting. Okay, yeah, I'm very much like a let's do the holidays in order kind of person. So I mean I kind of fledge a little bit on Halloween just because a horror movies, but I also feel like those aren't necessarily just restricted to Halloween, at least not any more for me. Yeah, I would that. When I was a drug at type in lab, if I had lab on Halloween, I would play a movie. Yeah, while we were in a so usually was sixty six Batman, nice. is also this really good. is also this really good amv of Marilyn Manson's. This is Halloween done with the soul eater anime. It's really good, interesting. Yeah, I can go if that's okay. Sure, aren't all right? All right, so I got you. You got me when ready. Thank you. Thank you all right. So, so other things I associate with all, aside from my pumpkin spies and my Lord of the Rings or whatever, I also, you know, I really love holiday specials and so and, as I mentioned, I'm I'm very much up. Let's do the holidays and order. But October first rolls around, you see the meme of like winona rider in I forget which movie it is, but what ONA writer looks normal, and this movie and then that. That one was labeled September thirty, and then there's one noon a writer, October one, and she's Lydia bets from Beatle shoes. So that's me. That's me. I'm very much like it's howween time. October first rolls around, it's time to bust out the hall the Halloween Specials, Y'all. So the the one that I watch every single year without fail is it's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. I know, Jason, I've never actually watch that one. Are you serious? I'm sure the old Brown special ever watches the Christmas. Well, okay, we can fix that. It's that I never really liked wash them consistently as a kid on my own because I never had copies of them until I was in high school. In School, they that was one that got it got routine. Play Halloween time, you know, we had a rainy day or like during like the class like Halloween party, when you did such things in school back then. Was it's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. So I love. I just look, I'm a so I'm a sax player, play the drums, a Pikiano. Jazz music is is some great stuff. I Love Jazz and so I love, Love, love all of the band school. All these scores route nuts. They just made me happy. So I've made like a fall playlist before and most of it is just it is like, Oh, this is, I guess technically of in school they put this, because it's not just his scores for it's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown and a Charlie Brown thanksgiving, but also like he actually has a song called Autumn Lea. You see, it's really beautiful. Yeah, that's that's another one that just it gets busted out October first, first thing in the morning. Let's let's watching Charlie Brown. was see off. Jason, do you have as I knew you had mentioned you associate. It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. What are your thoughts on that? Honestly, it's been so long since I've seen it again. We got that. It was just that when you suggested fall, was like, well, that's that was the first special that popped into my head, but I cannot speak on in detail because it's been so long. One of the things on my Amazon wish list right now is they a couple years ago did a vinyl pressing of the score for it's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown and it's bright orange like the great pumpkin and it's wonderful. But also, I'll say line is van pelt has some pretty pretty solid advice on the whole in that one. There are three things you should never discuss with people religion, politics and the Great Pumpkin, which I mean, you know, I can't tell you the number of times I've been thrown out of a barn the rout. I know right, but it's just funny to me now because I'm like, this is good advice for the Internet and it would be a lot more peaceful. When people to these things. You think that they find up a pail. I know I do not have to be significant at all. Done something. What I'm going to do on October one? I'm just going to start posting about the great pumpkin. Just see how many people want to fighting. Yeah, so Halloween specials. I'm not a big hollowing guy. You kind of got me, you know. I interest in horror movies, but most like Halloween. Halloween them like, Hey, like your demn I'll have any costume options. Short bearded man, not many Costum ob you know what, it's never stop me from being brilliat harm. Yeah, but your beard is the same as hers. As Anne, but also also I I've got a footless leg than she does. I think I feel like height.

Yeah, he necessarily need to be a big, a big factor. But yeah, so there's gonna Watch ghost writer. Yeah, yeah, like as an adult, though, we just watched Sall. Yeah, it was. We used two ment all right, you kids, get ready for a throwback. I'm pulling an Ashley and I'm talking about some mult technology. All right, we used to go to the library and rent VHS takes. So so let me explain. All of those things are. A library was a place you go to find books. Books are things that have words in them, that you hold your hands that aren't a cell phone or an IPAD or din. A vhs tape was what we had, the four DVDs, which we have, a for Blu Ray, which is what we have, the for digital. You had to rewind them before you before you send them back. Other words, you were charged fifty cents. The ghostwriter and I met to talk about this. Ghostwriter was this kids show, and you know Sassy Young Levinson's. These kids are like, I want to like fourth and fifth grade, maybe preteens, and they're they're they would solve mysteries with the help of this ghost that could write things out. For that that's literally is exactly the sound like ghost writer, not ghostwriter. Wasn't Nicolas can I'll be like every insult my reason, as amazing as that would have been. See, that's what I thought you were going with initially and I was like, okay, we'll see how this relates. I can see Halloween, maybe yea, goes, goes right. For Not Ghost writer. Neither Nicolas Cage nor Johnnie cash are involved. So so, yeah, so I reverb one episode where Ghost writer almost dies because he's basically transmitting message. Can Go back in time and he's shaking messages to some kids in like the s and he almost dies from going back and forth and it's like really, mad is gooid, like this ghost writer gonna die. Even mind, I was traumatized by both the woe the poo movie that came out. What was it? Great? WHO, the Great Searcher for Chrisph Robin? No, never like the first one they ever did, the first when the WHO movie they get that look that they they ever made. It's like the wooden who's grand adventure, who's man adventure. Yeah, that went it was the same one. I think it's good grant adventure of the search crissph Ro oh, yeah, but it's just the one where they going to skull Yep, that's the one school. And I was traumatized because because Chris probin basement tells people like I'm going to grow up and I'm going to leave you. Oh that, how can you do this? Yeah, I remember stopping angling around on the patty like this, can't, it's not real. So yeah, so I remember little me was traumatized by by by the idea that when you grow up you have to separated for your friends. I was like that's that doesn't sound right. Little Talvinst me was looking forward the goal already. Nowadays it's okay because you have the movie Christopher Roman. You know, you find them again. I want good. It's definitely actually is really is really good movie. Yeah, but anyways. So, so the one episode of Ghostwriter that I hated was the Halloween special because basically they make up a scary story and then it showed you, like plays out them acting out the scary story. Right, so that's like, as they're writing it, it showing you how it was. Like this bomaster like dragging them into the sewers and it was just gross and horrifying. I was like, why would they do this? The ghostwriter. I liked this show. This isn't mad. I hate it. Yeah, that's the that's that maybe turn me off the Halloween specialsty I'm sorry that the writer were traumatizing for you, for me. I also one of the first thing. So I if I remember back to like the library books that I picked out. Here's why you used to get there's this one book about World War Two battleships that I would pull up all the time. It was really cool. Is Like thin book. It was about one specific battleship that took place in one crazy battle in the Pacific that I would take out all these books. This is like a book series about classic cars, which I'm not a car guy. WHO BEING A car guy? I don't know. I love these books. Is like the history of the Corpett and history of the thunder bird, and he was, you know, I really, really like those books, even though no one in my family has were been car furs, so I don't know where that came from. But also the Star Wars novels I would take up from the library like Star Wars, lot like that. Let me read these and you know, Oh, look, these are really good. That's what that's what little me and then I would play put put the pot put games on the computers. There put Putt and pretty fish. She just had a library of so really good. Yeah, but yeah, so, yeah, again, our frame has never been like big into Halloween. So hollow specials. Never. Never, a whole whole lot going on. Is All follow you more about next to for us, because we love I don't know, again, we should do like a holiday special episode just because I think it's fun. By the way, here's a here's a good pot act podcast recommendation. If you do like holiday specials, you should check out Rick Reynolds the holiday special podcast, because he covers holiday specials from all the holidays. So he's found. So he's the one of the person who see...

...the Heber Hammer. No, he you know it shockingly, he's not covered that because that's a I don't know that it's necessarily a holiday. Like he's kind of yeah, okay, is it's not a special? Yeah, he's kind of a little more structured on the what is considered as holiday specials. So like that, an episode of a TV show. That is their holiday special. Let's that's gone. You know, obviously all the Charlie browns fit that anyway. That's a that's a that's a good, good one. I'm excited to October. First, Qu up all of the Halloween ones again for his his podcast. The other like really like fall holiday special like. I mean I could talk about holloween forever, because it's like like holidays. I love wearing costumes and I love any excuse to dress and costumes and halloweens great excuse for that. Also, you get candy. Nobody's mad about that. Moving into like more like fall, autumnal Thanksgiving the best sort of thing after all of the scoopy of Hollowe even I need a breather from that occasionally. So November first rules around. Get out of bed, grab some coffee. What am I watching? I am watching two different Thanksgiving specials. I think Thanksgiving an underrated holiday. It's the best Halid so it was, but the the the two that I watch on repeat in Thanksgiving season are the mouse on the mayflower and Charlie Brown thanksgiving. So are either do you familiar with mouse on the mayflower? Don't, or Charlie Brown gidding again. I've only watched the Christmas one. Jason Have Ach Charlie Brown thanksgiving. Same things, great funk. It's been a long time and I see the specialized see every year for Charlie Brown. Is the Christmas special? Yep, the but mouth on the mayflower. Ever heard of that one? I have heard of it, but I don't think I've seen it. Okay, so it is traumatizing as the secretive name. No, not as traumatizing as the secretive Nim. It's one that I grew up watching and I still watch as an adult for nostalgic purposes, but also, I would say, there's definitely some stuff in there that's not good. Um, it is one thousand nine hundred and sixty two of the one thousand nine hundred and sixty two rankin bass animated special. It's not one of the claimation. Okay, so, yeah, let' stop. Yes, not to stop motion. It's actually animated and no recommended. Did animation. Oh Yeah, you you've never seen the hobbit? Oh Oh, watching, I've seen gifts of it and looks absurd. Yeah, yeah, yeah, so that was rank and bess. I think there are a few reasons. This is this is worth what, excuse me, is one thousand nine hundred and sixty eight. Sorry. The main reason I continue to watch this one is I really love the voice cast for this. You Got Tennessee, Tennessee earty Ford, as a narrator. That is Tis are arming, for is a country center. Shocking late enough. He used from Tennessee's hearty for Frompton Tucky, but he's I know it. But he's got this beautiful, like booming baritone voice. He sounds like a lot of people in my family's actually have a sample of them. Yes, that's a Tennessee whatever. Whatever. And then you've got some other like voice acting greats in there, notably June for Ray. Who was that was? She did a rocky. I know she did pull week. Well, she was rocky because he was signs the squirrel. Yes, right, yes, yeah, so she she was rocky. She's also much, yes, very legendary voice. That, yeah, only passed away in two thousand and seventeen. She was ninety nine, but she's been voice acting since she was a more teen years. Yes, like she has. She had had this insane career and then Paul Free's brilliant, really voice actor, Big Bass Voice. To him that Jesus had changed his name from salty, but you would probably know him from us he was. He did a lot of the rank and bash thought motion Christmas specials. He was Jack Frost, or to he was in Jack Frost. He was a father winter and that one he did the last uniform, which was nightmare fule first still actually he did. Have you ever seen good off and cross these Christmas in July? Yes, he's the villain in that he's winter ball. Okay, but just this huge deep bass voice. He played a lot of villains. Don't worry, I got I got to put up his voice to voice. Anyway. I think it's worth watching just for like the voicecast, but it's harder to find. It was an it never had a DVD release. I got lucky and found a VHS copy in the free been at mccay's and Knoxville. But he yeah, it's a it's something that I watch every year. There are some things in there that are not so good, some praising. They're there that they're not intentionally racist, but they're kind...

...of racist. So I mean, you know, if you know, that's not your bag. That's not your bag. Don't watch it, but I think it's an interesting piece of history that's kind of been lost to time just because it's not available digitally anywhere. It is never got a DVD release. So if you if you've seen it, let me know and then let me know your thoughts. I think Rick Reynolds on the holiday special podcast actually had a really solid tape on it, a tape on it that's really fair like that appreciates the time that it came out of but also likes to like the the good and the interesting things, and so I liked it. I liked his tape on that particular special. So, but that one has a lot of like autumnal scenes as well. I don't know. have either you've been to New England in the fall at all? Possibly, I think. Yeah, it's so I have and it's wonderful. Like why can't the litter we like this all the time because it's cool, it's pleasant, it's pretty, lots of trees and they're all turning, you know, orange and it's lovely. Well, much like the pirates, to go to anything I've ever been to possible. They've never been the bottle. I have. I have done it once. So I now say I might have, I don't remember. Yeah, but anyway, I kind of evokes all of that image really well and I just yea also the mayflower and then the Charlie Brown thanks doating because I love Charlie Brown. Also like kind of identify love with peppermint Patti and that I stick my foot in my mouth a lot. I'm loud and Boisterous and my husband is bald and shy and saying like sometimes. So last year for Halloween we dressed as Charlie Brown propermant patty and there have never been costumes that that everybody our personality. So I kind of love that one and the whole gag about Marcy. Why don't you go speak for me, and she's in Mars he's like this is not unlike another Thanksgiving story about, you know, Priscilla mullins and John Alden. Anyway, it's funny. I appreciate that and also, you know, it's for all these scores. Good. It's also one of like the only Charlie Brown specials you hear an adult voice, even though it's not necessarily like an adult within the show that you hear. It's we're already saying we will already. So it's one of the only time you actually here an adult at all saying more than a wat Wa wa Wa, which is a trumpet with a pump beat. So, anyway, does youse say as a? As a someone who plays a brass instrument, do you understand what parents are saying? Wa Wa wa Wan, like, okay, guy about it. I do not try price, since it was I do not play sex phone, not brass. No, dude, that is a woodwind. Jason. Yeah, I play a trumpet and I completely understand every yeah, that's an extra layer, actually a most people don't have access to it. That he's he's. Yeah, you think our Charlie Brown gnostics figure out why Charlie Brown seems so depressed all the time? Thank you for that, Chang. I'm gonna think about that now. I want. Well, why are you talking about Thanksgiving? GOING TO HALLOWEEN? I actually had something pop into my head a couple issues whose comic that takes place around that time and I actually probably do end up reading around this time every year, I think because I associate, you know, the fall, that time of year, with time with family, with, like I said, looking back, you know, being thankful. I kind of thing. One of the things that that draws me to the comic series that I end up going to whenever I'm looking for that kind of vibe. is fantastic or because that is a series that's entirely about a family, someone the animated fantastic for or just look, it has poor Um, I'm thinking reading comments. Yeah, but I mean you know there's just registered. You said comics. Yeah, but you know, along those lines, classic animated, fantastic for a lot of fun or the same reason. I was wondering because they had that robot. Yeah, unless is the ones where they have the robot. Did that be they called the fantastic five, or just stuffing passed for? Well, what it was? It was herb the robot. Johnny follows. Is it? Johnny? The five is from short search's Personal Herbie the robot, and for most of that it's because censorship. At the time they did not want the human torch to be in front of children because they were worried that kids would light themselves on fire to see his clothes like when he's on fire. Mostly it's it's the it's the image of a human being on fire. I think that they didn't want kids emulating that. You could have flying characters, but you know, which seems dangerous as well. But he's ever heard a story...

...about some kids NU in the neighborhood that jump off a garage because they were wearing super yeah, getting back to the comic. My my favorite run on fantastic for is a more recent one. It was the run by Jonathan Hickman, but I never I go back and read that all the time, but I never start there. I actually started a short run before it. That was by Mark Mlar and Brian Hitch but one of the comic the specifically popped into my head. It's a two part story where the family. The first cover, the first issues cover, is actually a Thanksgiving scene with everybody gathered around the table read about to cut those Turkey, that kind of thing. But the comic yourself is not about Thanksgiving. It's about the family flying to meet one of red's cousins, I think in Scotland, and they end up doing like a Christmas celebration there that ends up having a very halloween kind of feel about the end of it. But basically they go to a small town to have spend some time with family and something's a little bit off and they eventually discover, you know, a a this town is really great because for many, many years it's not a very original plot, but for many years they've been sacrificing somebody around that time of year to keep the strange creature that keeps their good fortune going. And, you know, fantastic or put U stop to it ends up being like a really good family story that kind of goes horror and then goes back around to it, because it is. It is fantastic or. But that was one that popped into my head because I remember that cover again and then just that whole series in general, just that focus on family, that kind of thing. Another comic that I end up reading around this time of year is spider man blue. I don't know if you guys ever heard of that or read then. It's a it's a miniseries and again it's like a kind of a look back, because that thing, spider man smurst crossover, we all wanted. Sadly, sadly, no, it was part of we're Smur fits, just like got speech spider man. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, it's Murfett than it needs to be. No, no, I've got the pop. I got pop smar over here. Most pop pops a voice or he also. He was awesome watching middle well then then here you go. Here's a here's a there's some that same crossover. Here is a poplar. True things that have I forgot about the POPA smarm. Yeah, for Spider Man Movie popsmarphus by Don Messic Akseo row. I'm sorry, Jason, spidery mind. So I actually have some superman red and blue. Yeah, that's never heard of Spiderman. So Marvel did a cover that what they called a color series, and it's believe they're all written by vitamin blue, halt, green, hopple, gray, daredw yellow, Captain Americo, White, I think it is. I haven't read the Captain America. And then they all combined power rangers to form the week Lord. We haven't gotten that for yet. They did. This is currently coming on. This is this. This is older, but they did. They've released the new one ever a kind of years. So I think spider man blue might have been the first one. But basically what it is is, and part of the reason it popped into my head is one of the issues is actually called Ottoman New York. Is a room different times a year. But it is spider man is up in the attic, it's in the air era, when it was he and Mj were married. Is kind of where it's said. But it's him looking back and just kind of revisiting the whole series of it kind of redut retells a lot of classic spider man, but it's him looking back and remembering gwen stacy. So it's him going back and talk thinking about times with her, times with Mj and just kind of his remembrance from when he met her all the way up until her infamous death. And I think it's amazing. Spider man then no doubt had to get a new singer on the way. But but it's a really, really good series again focusing back on, you know, just spending time with way to La Spiderman blue, as he said, partially, and it's also, I should be laughing, it's also like they really focusing on the blue palet like instead of white, and a lot of places art is blue. You know, it's it's really, really interesting going to read stylistically the arts really great. But again it's that focus back on looking back on time with family, kind of...

...remembering, you know, those that might not be with you anymore and it has a just a phenomenal ending as well that I've always really liked. That I'm not school here. Yeah, that's kind of you haven't read it. It's one of my favorite standalone spider man stories. It's only six issues long and kind of recaps a lot of classic spider man with five stories, including all that that stuff that we talked about that one time. We like about spider man, the one prettils right to yes, not that one. That's future, the rougher spider man's number we talked about. I brought that up and like that's not even the worst part. Like wait, what, that's some of those way words, Oh dear. Oh yeah, we the there's actually I'm not going to get into a long thing, but they actually drudged up a lot of the stuff that I hate really really recently in spider man. Like the most recent issue is all about one more day and since as one day all spider hundred, apparently nowadays everyone with spider man as we deal with the devil. If this is just like man, is great. Oh Yeah, pretty much. None of them talk to each other and say hey, you know what this don't you don't make a deal with him. Ever, you wouldn't think you have to say that, but you know. Anyway, yeah, you get an off track. Think, you think, but your spider man reminds me, even though it's not fallen. Not Paul Jason's got street spider man album. He's just pumpkin bombs. Yes, he does. I'm so excited for will the boat come back, and for Alfa back. Yeah, they were probably te best, not best. He looks really young. Maybe he's just a ton of makeup. But Altar, he has not aged in their digitallydaging M and. Okay, okay, okay, okay, I was going to say it's like there's no way out. BILLINA is still looks like this lovely guy, but it's been twenty years. Yeah, yeah, that was one of those actually good years. That was one of the things that I agree in his interview that he got in trouble with Marvelfo where he was just like spelling stuff signed an NDA. Yeah, when they asked me to do it, I was really concerned because you know, I'm not I'm not in the same shape that I was back then and you know, I don't know that I can do all that stuff there, like you remember your doc off right, the arms do everything for you. Yeah, just stand there and act. Yeah, but then I'm millieos, like. It's not the Jedi way. Just get these zone stunts like Tom Cruise. Yeah, I don't. I can't think of anything else fall other than cooking. Yeah, so fall even turn to fall and it's now Charlotte. We usually have to wait till actual winter for this to happen, right, but it gets cooler and Star Wars. Wet Pants. Yeah, sweatpants and sweat shirts. I like. Yeah, expects so comping. oftentimes in fall I will just wear protomal pants all the time, and I get yelled at, like you're wearing jomp pants to go shopping. Like, yeah, grow up, like I am, Bro. That's why I can do this. I'm an adult. I can make a decision to wear my padum pants to the store. I'm walking in and walking out. Who gared? I would say NA Daniels, the Post Post, your boy for the people of Walmart, but he's not quite that bad. At least I'm I'm presentable. Yeah, your you're a sweat pants. Are Putting on a show. None of me is put on a show. I just like walk in, walk out. I need but like we with job pants and it's cold enough that I would I bothered, might change the sweatpants. was like, come on, I work from home out mostly. So like really don't get. I'm really good because once it gets cold, because I've wrote my working gets gets really hot and gets really cold because it's it's not on, it's not on the ground, it's not hovering right above, it's right about there. Yeah, it's raised. It's raised off the ground. So it's not attached to the rest. Not attached the rest of all. Well, one side of its tasted the second floor, but it underneath this, the patio. So it's he gets, it's not well, inslicing, it's really cold, it's really hot and use left up. Doors closes. I have a meaning. So so, yeah, so I have a little like space eater and I'll just like go down, turn on and make my coffee on the time done. It's like eighty the reason. So, yeah, it's like chilly weather, soup weather, Yep, warm foods weather. So I know I'm do that aspect of all. Put it put on right, get a bonfire going. Great, and I will tell US folks cigars and then we get freaking cold and like, okay, greg is hilarious because he's got zero cold power. It's like I have minimal cold powers. Right, GREIG has zero. Italy, like fifty reason. He's getting pointed some bucking gum. Yeah, Miami Kid, yeah, I was gonna say Florida. Yeah, already, and blood. It's really funny. He's in there like vibrating because we should bring so much. It's not that gold all. Is the time of here for great soup? Yes, yes, yes, yes, indeed, have just I...

...think you may have eaten my totato soup before. Right, I put toes in superscross and no, no, I guest the toes in messy. I'm not sure you have to describe one. Okay, so so here's a fault thing now I did be totally fair. I have not finished this book series which for a lot of one of this ere see, one of my favorite singer Songwriters, Andrew Peterson, has a fantasy book series called the wing feather sire and in the wing feather sock, in the world, in the wing Feather Soda, they have a plant called Totato, which is kind of like a hybrid tomato potato. So one of the chef's over associated with the rabbit room a few years ago made a totato soup, which is the thing they eat in the wing feather saga and it's very much like a fall soup. So if you have people in your life that have blue analogies, this is luten free. So just fi pro tip. This is a good one to choose. But it's got potatoes like a yellow go gold potatoes, because you're like pepper for potato. Choose tomatoes, carrots, onions, celery, corn, chicken sausage time. Rosemary Bailey. The the soup bass a good solid that chicken sock it, but it's just it's a really rich flavorful soup. It's one of those like the longer it's it's, the better it gets. It's good with fresh bread, but that's something I associate with Paul. I feel it's a very like hobbity kind of meal. It does take a little while to make, but the recipe I use makes a lot of it. So it's something I like to make for a crowd, assuming you have meat leftovers, because we rarely do, because some good. But if you do have any leftovers, he does freeze well so anyway, and we have had that. Yeah, I say, I feel a fairly comfid I made for you this. It's funny. This past weekend I attempted to make them pots of on. It came out really good, delicious. I did not get the broth to color I wanted to, though. A brought the supposed to be like curly white, hmm of White, and mine was Brown. Might be dest it, but, but, but your toe suit. Maybe they could this because I'm running parking a bun. I'm prepping a bunch of chicken feet and Ethan's Heaven's like sitting in the living room reading something and I go over with a chicken butt. I just clok him off with the chicken putting. He's like shaking his head at me. Dinner that's had a little too much fun. And Chicken feet makes me. Looking at chicken feet makes me believe they could be tiny dinosaurs, especially because they just like these weird like almost scaly looking skin and he's sharp talents at the end and mean like it's kind of looksok at dinosaur foot, very small, that it's a wood. I like someone was the not Jurassic Park and it was like scientists of God have made it their goal to ruin all the dinosaurs. I dress park comes out and you know see the mighty t reacts in the Sciences. Like actually, the t rex was mostly scavenger and got bullied by the other by the other dinosaurs in the school yard, and he's he's the NERD, he's getting getting wedge by all the other dinosaurs in the lost rapple was to be tall and had wings and a eight like plants to put ever, and the ruining everything. But yeah, that's it's fall again. Falling Charlotte is like a mixture of summer and fall. Yeah, yeah, pretty much, and a bounces back and forth. Bas it does not it has not decided whether it wants to be summer ball. Yeah, you don't get fall into winter. Yeah, we don't get winter at all. Occasionally we get like two weeks of winter in February. Yeah, it makes me send. We haven't had snow in like two years. Yeah, but what really UGUS slutty stuff? Yeah, we've had some stuff coming down from the sky. That doesn't count to stick. It doesn't stick. It didn't stop. That's yeah, we've got we tend to get more ice than anything. Yeah, if we get anything at all. And were you guys here backing thousand? NOPE, there was an ice store snow storm. There's an ice storm that just it was like each thick ice. Oh my heart, everything was insane, like it started with snow. Uh, it's snowed about half an inch and then just sleet it and everything was just coated in ice. Power lines down everywhere, trees down everywhere, but it was insane. So you could literally like skate on the road. Oh, I was. I wasn't specifically in Charlotte for that. There was an order Carolina, so I do remember that. Yeah, that was that was insane. Yeah, we had some of that in east Tennessee to it, because I'd have two thousand my freshman year of high school and like my the the college my mom worked at, which was where I would eventually go to school, but they would not flow the sport in. Yeah, neither my school. Anything at all. I was on school. We, like you guys, get school up when it snows. We don't get done in three hours. I still I doubt it was. It was memorable because my mom actually got to stay home from work. I heard like a day and a half. Maybe it might just st of like, Oh man, we thought we didn't have the hospital. So because my dad,...

...my dad worked for the phone company, soone weather was bad he had to work and soon and then my mom's work just never closed for inklement weather or hardly at all. Just any we wouldn't get that much, you know, being not quite rest. That's how you build care for you go to school and the snow up bill both ways. Yeah, Calvin, go do something you hate. Being miserable builds character. My favorite count all right, will be straight into winter. So yeah, the full. Any other bull things, we can circle back to winter stories. Will do a winter episode another day. But but I think that's all I had pretty much for fault. Were one thing that popped into my head a little while ago, and it is when you were talking about you and Ryan Doing Your Charlie Brown costume last year. I remember you guys had also done costume for chuck a lot way back. Yeah, yeah, Chuck had a couple Thanksgiving episode, Yes, and episode yeah, right, and I do not remember a huge amount specifically about them, but they were fantastic. Kind of gonna go watch them. Yeah, yeah, shuck still the greatest if you show all time, because it's the only show, as far as I know, has ever reference to Courtdester II. Need I'm due for a chucker watch. Yeah, it's just it's one of the things where, if you watch it back to that, it's definitely there's definitely stuff that didn't. It very much leads into the sexy spy stuff, like to the point where just like come on, guys, move on. But the character build. He's really great that it does. It is what I think all really good shows do, where it builds the secondary characters. I was you're like, okay, I want to see these, these are doing. You know, the fourth and fifth seasons are very rushed the point where the fifth season villa and I'm like who is this guy? They were from? But watching it all like engine chuck. It's really interesting because the first and last episodes are mirrored, like almost one to one mirrors with chucking Sarah's roles for worst. So it's yeah, it's it's really so. My Dad, when watched watch the ending of truck the first time, I was like I hated that and then when we went back and rewatched it and Wash Allen was like close to get as like, okay, you know what I get it. Yeah. So I think it's actually a phenomenal ending because, you know, endings are always like really hard to do because this you know, at some point there's there's questions. You didn't answer their stuff. You wanted to happen that. That just doesn't happen. And the chuck ending, I thought, was about as good as they could have done with the time they got. Yeah, so that I would point to that as a good end, and I point battles by black guy as we should end it. Two episodes. I think the only thing chuck suffers for from is the well, we might find a way to come back and doing just a tiny bit more rightly, right, left, this little teams of the end. Yeah. So, somehow, in the age of remakes that we live in, they have not found a way to do, to do to another chuck, move chuck movie or another season. Yeah, well, I can say big gender swapped it and just like sexy mail spy and dirty fun girl working nerdstock. The thing is it's a box store, so like doesn't work anymore. I I mean I have to visit a lot of best funds from work and I think about check every time I walk. Yeah, so, I mean and and you know, see, let's let's of ladies working the Geek Squad Tad. I'M gonna say. You haven't just be like a Geek squad thing. Yeah, there'sn't right to be in the store. She just goes from the store to work on people years. Yeah, I watched that like a sex email stripper, strata and Super Nerdy, super nerdy in rovert girl who's like, I'm a Kammer. anyways. Yeah, so fall, it's a good it's you know, the fall weather when it's like sixty five and zy and people, everyone who's not in the south is like all, sixty five this summers sixty five. What are you would? What do you when do you qualking about? Like falls when we start building our IGLOOM, like that comes in Minnesota and I was asking, so how's the weather now? And it rangs from what's really hot to yeah, there's seven feet of snow on the ground. Yeah, we're not going anywhere. That's as good. Paul's good makes me want to sit outside book my pipe and yeah, right, right, it's really good sitting outside weather. Yeah, it's like nice and cool. You can you can dress to you know you can, you can be comfortable, you can find the comfortable level of dress, because I was too hot. You can only take off so much, which too cold. Even want to put on so much. But all you can find that perfect balance of this is the Approprimon clothing for this temperature and just go sit outside for a long time and no Squitos, or you reduce this Uto. Yes, that's the other thing. Bos Go back to hell where they came from. Yep, apparently, in in the areas where they have a really, really short summers, like Canada, the mosquitoes going sane, really like they had horrible skills because because like, well, shit, we only got the one. So, like the the although we have a lot more mosquitos, like the relative that it's spread out over such a much longer period than the relative swarms are reduced in size. Y speak for yourself. Well, it's funny because when I was in so, when I was...

...in Atlanta, I was my house was like writing at my death. Here see, and here a poipon from my death. So we had a lot of mosquitoes and the first years like each four hundred percent of time. Yeah, and then after about a year year and a half, I just thought noticing really every now I'm gonna be like, Oh, this, it's just a little bit that I just act. No, I just I can't. I have like a mild, like allergic reaction to insect bites, and so I'm like then, when I moved back to Charlotte, I was like why am I itching now like a year to have to act on me back to Charlotte. Mosquitoes. Yes, this year has been rough for me for some reasons. I I'm going to let my dogs out of night and I come back with like ten bites. Now mostly okay, I'll watch men a lot of more time inside than I usually would. We also have like little creek behind our house. Yeah, yeah, yeah, they thrive. Yeah, mosquitoes abide. Well, my own days. Listeners out there, tell us about your falls very soon on, like what is full weather like for you? Depend because that that can change while you're in the cribbing. Like what is what is a fall? Is that trip on the steps? And you know, if you're just are like, what is the fault? We just had winter, we got our first snow in August. So, you know, let us know. What are your favorite fall things? Holiday specials late, you know, fall related thanks getting Halloween, I think, and keeping holidays. Is there a black Friday cyber Monday holiday special asses? I noticed. I know it's like black Friday movies, but they have nothing to do with white Friday. Yeah, that was like that. Now it was saying that was like a one of the seminal horror slashers. Was Black Friday, right or no? I think about Black Christmas. Right or for a black Friday specially, I think we have to return to chuck. Yeah, yeah, there's something. Yeah, they did something. They didn't do a black Friday. I maybe misremembering because I know they did a midnight video game. Yeah, but I think they did. But yeah, they did. They did a black Friday. It's one of my favorite moments. It's like there's this crazy thing, there's a new assistant manager and it is crazy thing in the side rips and it and it like full second on self and says new ASS manager. He says new ASS man. They might walks up with something says I knew and so funny. I'm watching Terminator and I'm like Holy Crap, that's Henry from Eureka. Uh, and then I'm like holy crap. That's big Mike. That's that was right on both of them, which I'm not. I'm never write about this stuff. That I was right. I was like, go me. There are a few movies called Black Friday. One came out one thousand nine hundred and forty with, course, Carloff and bell of the Gostie. So that should be pretty that's probably great, but I doubt it has any good with black Friday as we know it. I was gonna say I'm guessing. I haven't watched this show superstore. My wife has, and I'm assuming there's probably a black Friday episode in there. So I don't think so. Oh, so there is a AH, okay, you because you demanded it. Yeah, Oh, this is gonna see me. It's post production right now. Now. This is this is going to be real throwback. So get this called Black Friday. Exclamation point. A group of toy store employees must protect each other from a horde of Paris, of parasite infected shoppers. So it's a it's a black Friday Zombie movie. Right, right. So, so this, this is starring Devon Sawa, be still ten year old Ashley's hard, Bruce Campbell. Yeah, there you go. Michael J White, Aka Michael J White, was he was the voice of Sonic the Hedgehog, if I remember correctly. Those he's going to be running around Tommy Jason. Yeah, too slow, but he was also in spawn and and he's black, done white and like to fight. Did you watch that movie? No, I did not waste. Okay, anyway. So this sounds like it's going to be a horror comedy. I'm pretty excited. I mean, Bruce Campbells in it, it's going to be great. Well, it's, you know, if it does well, the Sequel Saber Monday, where they work at Amazon and get invaded by robots from space. So what I'm waiting for in this movie is for Bruce Campbell's character to essentially, you know, because that is a chainsaw arm, but I mean that's that's the whole thing. Ash worked at Kmart. I'm like, I'm fully expecting for him to like bust out at chainsaw or whatever and say like a hail to the cheap baby or ruby or whatever. So anyway, yeah, yeah, let us know. Let us know your fall traditions and foods and yeah, fall things like it's pumpkin spice. I don't want to hear about it, but actually does that? Okay, you know what I just I really only needed in my coffee. Oh he though. What's the worst pumpkin spice product that you've seen for sale? and Think I've seen a soda. Y saw soda last year. That sounds it. Jonas Jones Made Sweat...

Soda and Grass Soda. It probably was a johns. I saw something the other day and five and I'm pretty sure I saw pumpkin spice the other Oh, yeah, that's existing. I don't know, like I see a lot of cereal. Oh, here's another fault. Tradition, Count Chocola. Oh yeah, but I don't know, I seem like a lot of Pumpkin spy cereal and was like, I really don't know that I want to have pumpkin spices, frosted flakes or pumpkin spices. Like maybe this seems like an innocuous question, but it may be a set up for a taste test episode. Oh No, catching chemist really. Oh, actually, pumpkin spice everything. Yeah, y'all should do it gray. It's because like a pumpy spice those candle. Yeah, so I'm might actually die. Well, if you need if you need some help. I'll get stun that one. Yeah, apparently Pumpkins pice pasta sauce is existed, you know. I mean I've heard of like pumpin spice spam, Pumpkin eat in your pot, like I've heard of putting pump you for and it's actually like Nice. It like pickens up the super part of the Chili, gives it some extra. Well, I mean it's a it's a word, so it's like relatively neutral flavor. Yeah, yeah, and, but, but I don't I don't want. I wouldn't mind you to my pasta sauce, to be very I just don't want the lads. I think they are gonna die. Thanks, Jason. And let's prow really dumb this. Well, maybe you could get out of it. If you do, you cook something with entirely Pumpkin Pie spiced flavor. FICK, it's I mean that's in it. Some my my pul pork ubbi is basically, quote unquote, pumpy spice. Looks also, it's not mad. I call it a Christmas Cam. Yeah, make a nice past with the Costa Sau must in the spam as the meat. You know, you want to do like a chop thing.
